                             Government pension - NFTE cannot claim credit.

NFTE boasts that it ensured payment of government pension to BSNL employees through it's strike. Government agreed to give government pension, only out of compulsion, with a view to overcome the resistance among the employees for the formation of a corporation. The credit goes to the present leaders of BSNLEU, for creating this resistance among the employees. NFTE cannot claim any role in creating this resistance. Why because, right from the beginning they were supporting corporatarisation, and were telling the employees to accept it.

தோல்வி ஜூரத்தில் சில தலைவர்கள் உளறத் துவங்கி விடுவார்கள்.  இப்போது  அந்த நோய்க்கு ஆளாகிவிட்டவர் அபிமன்யூ.

இந்த தேர்தலில்  தான் மிகப் பெரிய பூஜ்யம் என்பது நீரூபணம் ஆகிவிட்டதாலும், அவரது சங்கத்தை 2002 தேர்தல் முதல் ஆதரித்து வந்த SEWA, TEPU  சங்கங்கள், அபிமன்யுவின் ஆணவப் போக்கு, சரண்டர் நிலைபாடு காரணமாக அவரது கூட்டணியிலிருந்து விலகிவிட்டதாலும், இதுவரை காணாத மிகப்பெரிய தோல்வி அபிமன்யு கண் முன்னே தெரிவதாலும், தேர்தல் நாள்  நெருங்க நெருங்க அபிமன்யூ உளறத் துவங்கிவிட்டார்.

பென்சன் பிரச்னையை தீர்த்ததற்கு NFTE சொந்தம் கொண்டாட முடியாது என்றும் BSNLEUவின் Corporation எதிர்ப்பு பிரச்சாரத்தால் ஊழியர்கள் கோபமடைந்து வந்ததை சரிசெய்யவே, வாஜ்பாயி அரசு பென்சன் திட்டத்தை ஒப்புக்கொண்டதாகவும் கதை அளந்து உள்ளார் அபிமன்யூ.

அப்படியென்றால் 2000, செப்டம்பர் போராட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்காமல் காட்டிகொடுத்த நம்பூதிரி/அபிமன்யுவுடன் அல்லவா  அரசு உடன்பாடு போட்டு இருக்க வேண்டும். அது ஏன் இரவோடு இரவாக தோழர் குப்தா அவர்களுடன் உடன்பாடு போட்டது மத்திய அரசு.. அதை துரோக ஒப்பந்தம் என்று கூறி 7ந்தேதி முதல் போராட்டம் என்று நம்பூதிரி கோஷ்டி அறிவித்தது ஏன் ?

இதற்கு அபிமன்யூவால் பதிலளிக்க முடியாது. 

ஏனென்றால்  அபிமன்யூ தனது சிந்தனைத் திறனை இழந்து

விட்டார்.

         BSNL formed

Despite strong protest and strike actions by the Federations and Unions in DOT, the government formed the new telecom corporation, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). It came in to being on 1st October 2000. An agreement was made by the three federations with the government ensuring govt. pension for the BSNL absorbed employees as also regularisation of thousands of casual labour engaged in DOT. Com.OPG played a dominant role in reaching this agreement.
